Mr. Michael H. Dunkley was first elected to the House of Assembly in 1997; at the December 2012 general election he was re-elected to represent Constituency 10, Smith's North. He is a dedicated and hard working public servant with a deep-rooted desire to serve the community. Mr. Dunkley graduated from George Washington University and the University of Richmond in the United States, where he earned a BA and a Scholar Athlete Award. Since his return to Bermuda, he has run the family business Dunkley’s Dairy and has built a reputation through the years as a respected businessman. He has also been involved in public service for most of his working life. Mr. Dunkley is an active sportsman and in his younger days, he played first-division cricket and soccer and still enjoys golf, tennis and keeping fit. He has served as president of The Mid-Ocean Club and is a member of the Bermuda Athletic Association, the Bermuda Squash Racquets Association and Coral Beach Club. In his spare time, he enjoys playing golf and keeping fit. He and his wife, Pamela, are the proud parents of two children.
